Helping pay for a college education can be one of the most valuable gifts you can give a child. Edward Jones Financial Advisor, Tim Uras, will present Paying for Education, a program for parents and grandparents interested in learning the options available for saving and paying for a child's education. He will present various investment options and strategies available to assist in planning and paying for a college education.

networking and some ways to address the risks involved.
The Sixth Annual Author Luncheon Presented by the Friends of the Amherst Public Library
This year Barbara Raymond will discuss her book THE BABY THIEF, the untold story of Georgia Tann, the baby seller who corrupted adoption. She adopted children nationwide as well as to some famous Hollywood stars.

Volunteers Wanted
Are you interested in getting some exercise and helping your library at the same time? The Amherst Public Library is seeks volunteers for the following positions.
Grounds Monitor
Help keep the library grounds clear of trash. Can be completed in as little as 15 minutes per day. Volunteers can choose single days or multiple days of the week.
Costumed Character
Looking for someone who is interested in wearing a "super hot" bear costume and representing the library at community and library events. This position can be filled by one individual or multiple individuals willing to serve at different events.
